Before and After School Care
Before and after school care is offered from 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. for Pre-K through age 12. This program is designed to aid parents by providing care for their children before and after regular school hours and to inspire students to achieve their God-given potential through excellent academics and Christian training in a compassionate environment.
Activities are planned based upon age and interests of the children, including crafts, blocks, table games, tumbling, speed stack cups, music and movement, outdoor play, and homework time. An afternoon snack is served at no additional cost.
Our staff understands the needs of children and desires to provide a relaxed environment that will allow them to feel comfortable while maintaining a respectful atmosphere. To that end, these are the guidelines that students are expected to follow:
I Peter 2:17 encourages us to honor and respect those in authority over us, to value them, and to live at peace with everyone.
Ephesians 4:32 reminds us to practice kindness, demonstrating gentleness and offering forgiveness when we are wronged.
Luke 12:48 teaches that God expects us to be good stewards of what has been given to us.
Ephesians 4:26 commands us that even when we are angry, we must be careful not to sin.
I Thessalonians 5:11 stresses the importance of building each other up with kind words.
Psalm 133:1 emphasizes the importance of dwelling together in unity.
The Bible verses connected with each of these expectations is vital to our program. Our staff will seek to model for students the attitudes that God expects from each of us. It is only by recognizing that God is the ultimate authority in each of our lives that we can hope to instill in students proper respect and responsible behavior that will allow them to participate in the privilege of coming to Heritage Kids.
