We will follow USDA guidelines when planning our menus. No child will go without nourishment for longer than 3 hours. I will offer the following meals and snacks to all children in attendance at the times identified in the daily schedule. : Breakfast, A.M. snack (2 and under), Lunch, P.M. snack
Parents providing their own children’s meals and snacks will be informed in writing of the USDA nutritional requirements. Weekly records of meals and snacks are available for your review. School-aged children will be offered breakfast before they are dropped off at school, and afternoon snack upon arrival from school. Children younger than 12 months must be served formula or breast milk unless written direction is on file from the child’s health care professional. All bottles and commercial baby food must be labeled with your child’s first and last name and date.
